Foundation are making their own robot hands in Engineering this term, and learning lots about anthropometrics, here are some pictures of their prototypes. (They move like real hands!)
Deyja Dejonge tells us in this brilliant comic strip! Well done Deyja!
Students connecting their learning to the big idea
Well done to Misha, who is the first to (almost) finish his screwdriver – the first GCSE Engineering practical task! Fabulous because his threading is straight!
Our L1+ students recently completed their Future Food projects. Each learning set came up with a name for their sustainable restaurant, designed a menu and individually they wrote a press release to explain the choices they made.
Congratulations to Nyma and Camellia for winning the Individual Prizes for best Press Release.
The prize for the winning learning set will be announced in assembly next week.
Well done to Evie Haward and Dana Johnson who have completed their pavilion model!
Lots of practical work in engineering is happening this week, Foundation are reinventing plastic bottles into new products,, and Level 1 are making architectural models of pavilions for Primrose Hill.
