Trip to Harry Potter Studios!

Sustainable Architecture students had a great time at Harry Potter studios, learning about modelling, architectural drawings and lots of other types of set design that will help them in the model making of their own eco classroom.

Well done everyone, you were perfectly behaved and real ambassadors 🙂

Visitors in Sustainable Architecture

We had some extra special visitors come to talk to us in Sustainable Architecture, Mark Rowe and Avril Rogers were just some of the brains behind the building of the school.

They were very impressed with the students who listened throughout and asked fabulous questions!

Level 3 Engineers impress BAM in Academy doorstop competition

L3 Eng vs BAM

On Friday 17th October, the Level 3 Engineers presented their solutions to BAM for a new and improved doorstop to be used across both sites. If successful, then 400 will be manufactured and installed.

All presentations and design ideas were professional and feasible. All those present were impressed by the levels of metacognition and authentic challenge.

There are 4 teams competing, with the finalists being announced this Friday! Good luck!

School Adoption

We’re very happy that our school adoption went so well last Thursday, Sustainable Architecture is now officially supported and sponsored by CIOB and Capita!
